Space War & Ham Fantasy Game Economy Update (Dec 15, 2022)
Space War
1. On May 18, 2022, we introduced a “Fighter Repairing” rule to the Space War game. This rule is cancelled NOW.
2. The formula of the Daily dynamic Prize Pool changes to the following:
Daily dynamic Prize Pool = The Total Amount of FBX Left in The Prize Pool/365 + 80% of the FBX consumed by players buying in-game coins the day before (Originally, the old smart contract will send 80% of the FBX tokens used for in-game coins purchase to the black hole address. After the update, the new contract address will send 80% of the FBX to the prize pool)
PS: The total prize pool of Space War is 10 million FBX tokens, the total amount of FBX left in the prize pool refers to the total prize pool deducting all the FBX tokens already distributed to users.
3. The output of in-game coins reduces to 1/6 of the current level
4. All the wallet addresses will resume to 0 chances for gameplay after 1 AM SGT(5 PM UTC) system maintenance every day. Players need to click on the “Recovery” button to get up to 30 chances to enjoy the game (Each address will be rewarded with 1,000 in-game coins each time you recover, this benefit is only available throughout the first month from Dec 15, 2022 to Jan 15, 2023).
Note: When clicking the “Recovery” button, you need to interact with the smart contract in the simplest form with the lowest gas fee (function of the smart contract).
Ham Fantasy
1. On May 10, 2022, we introduced a “Diminishing return” rule to the Ham Fantasy game. This rule is cancelled NOW.
2. The formula of the Daily dynamic Prize Pool changes to the following:
Daily dynamic Prize Pool = The Total Amount of FBX Left in The Prize Pool/365 + 80% of the FBX consumed by players buying in-game coins the day before (Originally, the old smart contract will send 80% of the FBX tokens used for in-game coins purchase to the black hole address. After the update, the new contract address will send 80% of the FBX to the prize pool)
PS: The total prize pool of Ham Fantasy is 15 million FBX tokens, the total amount of FBX left in the prize pool refers to the total prize pool deducting all the FBX tokens already distributed to users.
The above-mentioned updates of both games were effective from 1 AM SGT, Dec 16, 2022.
⚠️Please note that:
1) In terms of Space War, the “Resume” button will be refreshed at 1 AM SGT (maintenance time) every day. Players will need to pay a minimal amount of BNB to reactivate the game since it interacts with our smart contract.
2) In Space War, if your Fighter’s health is 60% before the rule change, it will stay at 60% and will not decrease further. If you repair it to 100%, it stays at 100% and you do not need to repair it afterward.
2) Same rule applies to Ham Fantasy, you can use a set of 6 Towers to recharge the ticket to 100%. However, there are 2 different scenarios. If the durability of your ticket stays at 20% for less than 10 days, you can still recharge it. If it stays at 20% for more than 10 days, you will no longer be able to reactivate it to 100% in this account.
Space War Game Economy Update (May 11, 2022)
The plunge in the cryptocurrency market had the investors’ nerves worldwide. The market is extremely volatile at the moment. For the ForthBox team, we always prioritize keeping our ecosystem healthy and sustainable in the long run, especially for our game economy.
From our perspective, there is no perfect mechanism to deal with all different kinds of market conditions. At an early stage of our project, the economy model of the Space War kept running quite well for a couple of months. We’ve been experimenting with different practices and trying to find a trade-off between benefits and risks.
As of now, we are forced to make a change. Please understand that we won’t make a move unless it is a necessary step to take. The following changes will be made for both Space War and Ham Fantasy.
Service Fee for Claiming Reward
Every time a player claims an FBX reward, there will be a 100 FBX service fee incurred. If you have a scholar playing the game for you, it will be 100 FBX for both of you. (Please note that these tokens are not allocated to us, rather, they stay in the ecosystem)
This change will be effective from 5 PM UTC, May 10, 2022.
Fighter Repair Cost Model
We will introduce Repair Cost for Fighter NFT.
This change will be effective from 5 PM UTC, May 18, 2022.
Repair Cost and FBX Price Correlation
For example, if the Health Ratio of your SSR Fighter is at 80%, $FBX price is at 0.03 USDT, you need to spend 2200 FBX to repair the SSR Fighter. Assuming the $FBX price is at 0.1 USDT, you need to spend 2200*0.8=1760 FBX to repair the Fighter.
Space War Daily Dynamic Prize Pool
We’ve made some changes to the “P” (FBX Price Coefficient) in the formula Daily Dynamic Prize Pool = 100,000+P*N when the $FBX price is below 0.03 USDT. This adjustment is vital for the health of the game economy in the current market condition.

Ham Fantasy Daily Dynamic Repurchase Pool
There is a similar scenario for the Ham Fantasy Game. It is important to adjust the P (FBX Price Coefficient) based on the market trend.
This change will be effective from 5 PM UTC, May 10, 2022.
Use Fantasy Box to redeem the FBX token
A player will need to have 10 Fantasy Boxes or more to redeem the FBX token from the repurchase pool. There will be 100 FBX as a service fee for each transaction (it will be deducted from the FBX tokens you redeem).
